Named after one of the most iconic sections of coastline and Insta-inspiring gravel riding of the American West, the Marin Headlands embodies everything about this beautiful and rugged terrain. A full unidirectional carbon chassis is purpose-built for multi-surface adventures, be they short days or long weeks in the saddle. Meanwhile, conventional rack and fender mounts can transition the bike into a capable winter commuter. Unidirectional Carbon Fiber Frame The Headlands has a unidirectional carbon fiber frame designed to meet the demands of modern gravel and endurance riders and racers with large tire clearance, a 142x12mm thru-axle, and multiple frame eyelets for customized hydration and framebag needs. This is a frameset that can be ridden hard and put away wet. We use Tange tubing because it’s got a heritage of quality and a responsive feel. We know that the everyday cyclist needs a bike they can count on, day in and day out. From there we offered a bike that everyone could get behind: a solid platform for a multitude of fixed and single-speed builds. The beauty of the frame for us is that it keeps the track spirit, yet has never limited itself. The latest update is tweaked to fit fatter tires in case you want to try to track across. It also has an anti-rust coating on the interior of the tubes. If you choose to put brakes on, get the 57mm reach, not 49mm. We no longer have a 61cm size, but we have re-designed our smallest size with a sloping top tube to fit shorter riders. Uber-affordable track frame with full CrMo construction and plain gauge tubes - Responsive semi-track geometry with horizontal 120mm spaced track dropouts - Drilled for the rear brake, 57mm long reach, but no cable guides - Clearance for 32mm tires - Anti-rust coating applied to the interior of the tubes - Removable decals
